Performance Data
Primary school performance tables provide information on the achievements of pupils in primary schools, how they compare with other schools in their local authority area and nationally.
Standard Assessment Tests (SATs) are statutory assessments carried out by all state schools.
They assess how your child’s abilities compare nationally with other children in the same year group.
- Key Stage 1 (Year 2): Tests in reading, maths, and sometimes grammar/spelling; these are non-statutory and may be administered informally.
- Key Stage 2 (Year 6): Formal, timed tests in reading, grammar/punctuation/spelling (SPaG), and maths (one arithmetic and two reasoning papers
